Dr. Coggins has served the needs of his patients for 32 years. He is a native of Illinois and received his undergraduate education from Western Illinois University and has a Dental Medicine degree from Southern Illinois University, School of Dental Medicine, and Edwardsville in 1976. He graduated in the top 10% of his class.

For 17 years, Dr Coggins provided dental care to his patients in the Peoria area of central Illinois. The San Francisco bay area was his home for the next 4 years. In addition to practicing dentistry in California, he also began his training with the surgical-dental microscope there. Before moving to Arizona, Chicago was his home since 1997. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, the Illinois Dental Society, the American Academy of Peridontology, the Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the Academy of Implant Dentistry and the Academy of Microscope Enhanced Dentistry.

Continuing education is absolutely necessary to stay current in the dental profession. Dr Coggins dedicates himself to constant continuing education though meetings, conventions and seminars throughout the United States and Europe. He has accumulated for 4,000 hours of post-graduate training and continuing education.
