I met Dr Coggins when I was 60 years old, my dental history was probably typical for my age. It was done with the training, equipment and technology of the 1950’s then the 1990’s. I realized at age 60 I had big dental problems and therefore major decisions to make. I could do one of two things. I could follow Dr Coggins recommendations and deal with all my issues one time, or I could overlook items of my choice and do piecemeal repairs for my entire dental future.
I chose to follow Dr Coggins program for two major reasons. First, I wanted to improve the appearance of my smile in a short period of time. Second , I didn’t want an uncertain dental future which could easily mirror the problems my parents experienced during their 70’s, 80’s and 90’s. I didn’t want to face partials, gum diseases, dentures, etc.
For anyone considering Dr Coggins recommendations I would say - “DO IT”.
My process was lengthy but it was not difficult.
The results far exceeded my expectations both as to appearance and dental health.
I am now in control of my dental health, my personal dental care such as flossing combined with cleaning and regular check-ups dictate my dental health.
Had I chosen not to follow Dr Coggins recommendations my oral health would continue to be dictated by 10 to 50 year old dental practices, training, materials, and technology.
